Happy Monday!!! Wait for end result at the end! It’s basically done, I only need to organize a bit better and display art and the thousands of trinkets I have, but the books are all out and i finally know how many books I own 👀 it’s clearly not enough 🤣 The total number is 509 books and @cloudstanloves2read is the one that guessed the number closest to it (505) 🥳🥳🥳 Am I crazy to organize by color? It felt the easiest and fastest way to do it without going nuts, should I change it? QOTD: how are your books organized/ shelved? Wow May really kicked my 🍑 and I’m still suffering the consequences but hey, at least my reading month was great! 🤣 As per usual I only really read one book from my tbr and the rest were arcs and alcs which I’m so grateful for. I adore the authors, Pr, publishers and producers that trust me with their work so much and I’m on top of the world anytime I get an ARC notification. Reborn (Shadow Beast Shifters #3) by Jaymin Eve - mini review 🖤 What an AMAZING conclusion to Shadow and Mera’s story 😭 Shadowshine <3 This trilogy completely won me over and I’m honestly not ready to leave these characters behind. Mera is one of my favorite FMCs ever, badass, hilarious, stubborn, intelligent, and absolutely stabby when needed 👏 And Shadow?? Sir… book husband material FOR SURE 😮💨 One of my favorite things about this series was the found family dynamic and the banter. The humor mixed with all the emotional moments made this series so addictive. “Women can do anything, especially when we stick together. The Auction by Sadie Kincaid, narrated in duet by Grayson Owens & June deBorahae - mini review 🎧🖤 I thought this was a standalone… IT IS NOT and now I need book 2 immediately 👀 This story hooked me from the start and did not let go. Dark, intense, and so addictive. Our MMC, Lincoln, is extremely morally gray and I am here for it. And Imogen… I felt for her, I doubted her, and honestly until the very end I didn’t know if she had fooled me or not. That tension kept me completely hooked. 🎧 The audio?? A MUST. Grayson Owens and June DeBorahae absolutely elevated this story, the performance, the emotion, EVERYTHING. These narrators are truly top of the class, and I honestly cannot imagine continuing the series without the audio. “He can push and i will bend, but i will never break” If you love dark romance, age gap, masked billionaires, Beauty & the Beast vibes, forced proximity this is definitively for you. The Hanging Heart by Eva Simmons, narrated in duet by Blair Thatcher & Anthony Palmini - mini review 🖤🎧 This book had me in that “I want to stop reading because I know I’m about to get hurt… but I NEED to know what happens” phase 😭 And then… THAT cliffhanger?? Eva really said suffer. Elorie and the world completely pulled me in from the start, and I was hooked the entire time. 🎧 The duet narration?? INCREDIBLE. Multiple POVs and I never once felt lost. Blair Thatcher (new to me!!) absolutely impressed me 👏 And Anthony Palmini?? Sir… making me fall for the villain like that?? If you love gripping stories with emotional damage and amazing audio… this is it 👀 “Love is not a big enough word to define what it means to meet your mate.
